COMMERCIAL PEN WORKER

To begin with, I always like to introduce myself as a commercial pen worker.

I started my career as a copywriter, writing my first commercial for Navratna Tel, without realising that I was one of the early writers to work on the brand. Since then, I have written more than 500 print ads, commercials, AVs and outdoor campaigns across a wide range of brands and categories.

My writing journey has extended beyond advertising. I have also written for television and was one of the writers for the much-loved The Great Indian Comedy Showon Star One.

I have also ventured into feature films, writing for the Hindi film Bhabhipedia, starring Hrishitaa Bhatt, Nitin Sharma, Girish Sehdev, Rajkumar Kanijia and Meghna Naidu, with a special appearance by Masterji Ganesh Acharya.

My writing experience also extends to education. I authored a module/unit on POP Advertising for BTL as part of the postgraduate course in Advertising and Management at IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University).

And to complete the spectrum of my writing journey, I have also co-authored storiesin Whispers of Life and Time and Tide. Both books are available on Amazon.

From advertising and television to films, education and literature, I have always enjoyed exploring the many ways in which words can inform, persuade, entertain and connect.
